FBLA Competes in Spring Conference

   The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a nationwide organization for young entrepreneurs and go-getters. Members of the organization participate in a plethora of competitions; data analysis, job interviews, graphic design, application development, etc. Southside has its own chapter of FBLA with about 70 members.

   Wednesday, February 8, 2023, marked the date of a regional Spring conference. Southside brought many participating members to compete. As students presented and engaged in their events, speeches and actions occurred on stage.

   Southside placed spectacularly at this conference. During the award ceremony, students performed as followed: 16 first-place awards; 4 second-place awards; 5 third-place awards; 2 fourth-place awards; 2 fifth-place awards; and 2 sixth-place awards. A total of 39 members placed and now qualify for the state conference in Little Rock, Arkansas.
