President Joe Biden faces criticism from a small group of individuals from his own party, telling Biden that he is showing bias towards Israel and against the Palestinians of Gaza.

     Biden offers constant support to Israel, giving funding in ammo, economy, and supplies. The Palestinians supposedly confirmed this suspicion on his friendly visit to Israel. 

     “President Biden has not expressed one bit of empathy for the millions of Palestinian civilians facing brutal airstrikes and the threat of a ground invasion of Gaza that would intensify this humanitarian crisis,” said Tlaib, the first woman of Palestinian descent in Congress. 

     Tlaib stated that the Biden Administration is failing in its duty to protect all American and civilian lives in Gaza, arguing that the airstrikes and threat of ground invasion is too much. Hamas’s surprise terrorist attack had killed just under 1,500 people, according to Israeli officials; while Israel, on the other hand, has caused or assisted in the deaths of over 8,000 people in Gaza, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, run by Hamas.

     Biden was also criticized for how he showed skepticism over the death toll in Gaza, saying that he had “no confidence in the number that the Palestinians are using.” 

     However, counter-criticism has been shown against Tlaib, saying that Biden showed his empathy in a speech, stating that all human lives are precious. People also say that Tlaib is also showing bias towards the Palestinians, stating that she has natural bias because of her descent.

     The Israel-Hamas war is “brutal” and “violent”, according to civilians from both sides. While the politicians argue, deaths are constantly increasing on both sides, with each Hamas starting to slowly get overwhelmed by the America-supported Israel.
