The Swing States, also known as battleground states that declared the 2024 presidential election, were Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Trump won four out of seven of the states, including North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, which put him ahead in the Electoral College. But, as of early Wednesday morning, a winner for Michigan, Arizona, and Nevada has not been found.
Swing States are states that can swing either Democratic or Republican and which are usually connected with presidential elections. These states generally are usually targeted by both major-party campaigns. States that usually lean towards one political party (Republican or Democratic) which are known as “safe states” or can also be known as “red” or “blue” states. The swing states may change based on how the election cycle occurs. In the past presidential elections, candidates for Republicans tend to easily win most of the mountain states and the Great Plains like Tennessee and South Carolina. However, Democrats usually take over the Mid-Atlantic states, like New York and New Jersey.

Pennsylvania voted 49.0% Harris and 49.0% Trump, Michigan with 50.0% for Harris and 48.0% for Trump, Wisconsin 50.0% Kamal and 48.0% Trump, Nevada 49.0% Harris and 49.0% Trump, Georgia 48.0% votes for Harris and 50.0% for Trump, Arizona 48.0% Harris and 50.0%Trump, North Carolina. Overall, most of the swing states voted for Donald Trump, making him the 2024-2028 president of the United States.
