Southside Mav Media upholds the tradition of excellence in the online edition of our newspaper, “Southworld Online.” The first edition of the Southside newspaper was created in print along with the beginning of Southside High School in 1963. Known originally as “The Rebel,” the newspaper reported on the current events surrounding the school and its teachers, sports, and other various stories. Today, we continue this work here on Southworld Online, consistently covering the events inside and outside Southside with the team members of Mav Media and their work in writing, photography, and broadcast reports.
