The Eras Tour by Taylor Swift premiered on Friday the 13th of October, 2023, and grossed a total of $129 million at the box office. On its first day, the tour raked in $39 million in ticket sales. 

     The tour movie is filled with high-energy dance moves, stunning visuals, and the chance to trade friendship bracelets, creating an experience that is both entertaining and immersive.  The prices for the tickets will be for adults: $19.89 and for children: $13.13 and a reference to her album 1989 and her favorite number, 13.

     “It was very close to the real concert. It was cool seeing it from different angles,” freshman Jocelyn Boyd said.

     The film takes viewers through Taylor Swift’s most iconic eras, from her early country days to her current pop superstar status. Along the way, audiences will be shown an electrifying performance of some of her biggest hits, including “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” and “Lover.” With stunning choreography and larger-than-life set designs, this movie is sure to leave fans feeling exhilarated and inspired.

     Some of Taylor Swift’s songs didn’t make it to the Eras Tour movie. Fans were disappointed that tracks like “Wildest Dreams,” “cardigan,” “Long Live,” and “The Archer” were not included. Despite this, the chosen setlist did an excellent job of showcasing Taylor’s evolution as an artist and highlighting the most iconic moments of her career.
