Sponsored by Michael Parker, German Club expects around thirty members, including 16 German exchange students to show up during the first meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

“This is an educational and cultural exchange with the Goetheschule High School in Hannover, Germany and involves high school-aged students from each school.  The exchange is organized through the nonprofit high school program: German American Partnership Program,” Parker said.

The students arrive Oct. 7, and depart Thursday, Oct. 25. Their schedule includes daily classes and at least three field trips: Crystal Bridges Museum on Oct. 10, Historic Downtown Fort Smith on Oct. 17, and Devil’s Den State Park on Oct. 23.
