The community of Southside High School is mourning the loss of sophomore Angel Bonilla II, who passed away on November 7, 2025. Angel was a beloved member of Southside and was known for being a kind and genuine spirit who always lit up a room with laughter.

To honor Angel’s memory, Southside held a memorial walk on Friday, November 21, with students, faculty, and staff lining the halls to show support to his family. Angel’s legacy of kindness and joyfulness will remain in the hearts of everyone at Southside. In light of his sudden passing, support to his family can be sent through this GoFundMe.
